Discord Moderators are trusted community volunteers who help keep the official YourSitee Discord server safe, welcoming, and organized. This role applies only to the Discord server. Moderators do not become YourSitee employees, cannot moderate the YourSitee platform, and do not receive a profile badge.
Moderator applications are currently closed. Recruitment opportunities will be announced on our Discord server when additional moderators are needed.

How moderators are selected

New moderators may be selected through:
  • A temporary public application shared in the #announcements channel
  • A private recommendation from a YourSitee team member or an existing moderator
Selected applicants may be required to complete an interview, training, and a trial period before receiving full moderation permissions.

  • Be familiar with YourSitee and have a registered account
  • Be patient, responsible, and open to feedback
  • Be regularly available to help the community
  • Have no active or recent penalties within the previous 120 days
Meeting these requirements does not guarantee selection.

Helpful experience

The following may strengthen an application:
  • Previous community moderation experience
  • Familiarity with Discord moderation tools and bots
  • Strong conflict-resolution skills
  • Detailed knowledge of YourSitee
  • Participation in other YourSitee community programs
