The Image Widget lets you upload and display an image directly on your Sitee. It works well for photos, posters, flyers, graphics, announcements, product shots, or any other visual you want to highlight on your page.

Add an Image Widget

Open your Sitee editor

Go to the YourSitee dashboard and open the Sitee you want to edit.

Open the widget menu

Select Add Widget from the editor toolbar.

Choose Image

Select the Image Widget from the list of available widgets.

Upload your image

Click Upload and choose the image you want to display.

Add a description

Optionally, add a short Description. This works like a caption below the image.

Save and publish

Select  Save, then publish your changes to make the image visible on your public Sitee.

What you can customize

The Image Widget is intentionally simple. You can currently configure:
  • Image: upload the image you want to show
  • Description: add a short caption below the image
  • Remove: delete the currently uploaded image from the widget and replace it with another one if needed
If you leave the description empty, only the image will be shown. Avaliable on Pro plan The Image Widget also supports some optional Pro features:
  • Spotlight: visually emphasizes the widget
  • Sponsored Content: adds a sponsored label when needed

Important content rules

Because the Image Widget displays media directly on your Sitee, the uploaded image must follow our platform rules.
NSFW media is not allowed directly in the Image Widget. This means uploaded images must not contain nudity, explicit sexual content, or other disallowed sensitive material.
If you want to link to content on another platform instead, use a Link Widget and apply the appropriate content label where needed.

Tips for better results

  • Use a clean, high-quality image
  • Keep important parts of the image centered
  • Use the description for short context or explanation
  • If the image is promotional, consider enabling Sponsored Content
  • Preview your Sitee before publishing to make sure the image looks right
