The Countdown Widget lets you show a live countdown on your Sitee. It is useful for launches, events, announcements, premieres, sales, deadlines, or anything else you want visitors to look forward to.

Add a Countdown Widget

Open your Sitee editor

Go to the YourSitee dashboard and open the Sitee you want to edit.

Open the widget menu

Select Add Widget from the editor toolbar.

Choose Countdown

Select the Countdown Widget from the list of available widgets.

Set the title

Enter the title you want to display above the countdown, such as Launch day, New video drops in, or Tomorrow’s event.

Choose the date and time

Set the exact  date and time for your countdown target.

Save and publish

Select  Save, then publish your changes to make the countdown visible on your public Sitee.

What you can customize

The Countdown Widget currently includes these main settings:
  • Title: the text shown above the countdown
  • Date & Time: the exact target your countdown counts down to
The widget preview updates in real time while you edit it, so you can immediately see how it will look.
The selected date and time are based on your local timezone when you set up the widget.
Avaliable on Pro plan The Countdown Widget also supports some optional Pro features:
  • Spotlight: visually emphasizes the widget
  • Sponsored Content: adds a sponsored label when needed

A Countdown Widget works especially well for:

  • event countdowns

  • special announcements
  • limited-time offers
