# Banned Accounts

YourSitee may restrict, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban an account that violates the [Terms of Service](https://yoursit.ee/terms) or [Community Standards](https://yoursit.ee/standards).

The enforcement action depends primarily on the nature, severity, and context of the violation.

## Types of enforcement

### <Icon icon="siren-on" />  Account restriction

Certain account features may be limited while an issue is reviewed or addressed.

### <Icon icon="user-police" />  Temporary suspension

A temporarily suspended account may lose access to YourSitee for a limited period.

### <Icon icon="ban" />  Permanent ban

An account may be permanently banned when the severity or nature of a violation justifies permanently revoking access to YourSitee.

A single serious violation may result in a permanent ban.

<Warning>
  **Do not attempt to evade a permanent ban.** Permanently banned users may not create another account or use an existing account to continue accessing YourSitee. Read our [Terms](https://yoursit.ee/terms).
</Warning>

## Appealing a decision
