# NSFW Policies

**YourSitee does not allow NSFW media to be displayed directly on a Sitee.**

Legal adult content may only be shared through an appropriately labeled external Link Widget, provided that both the link and its destination comply with these policies, our [Community Standards](https://yoursit.ee/standards), and applicable law.

<Warning>
  **Your Sitee itself must remain safe for a general audience.** Adding an NSFW label to a link does not allow you to display nudity, sexually explicit media, or other NSFW material directly on your page.
</Warning>

## Content that cannot appear directly on a Sitee

NSFW or sexually explicit media <Icon icon="ban" /> **must not appear** in any element that visitors can see directly on YourSitee.

This includes:

* Profile pictures
* Banners and profile backgrounds
* Image Widgets
* Link Widget thumbnails
* Favicons or custom icons
* Embedded media
* Other images, videos, or visual previews displayed on the Sitee

These elements must not contain nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or other material unsuitable for a general audience.

This rule applies even when the relevant link is marked as NSFW.

## Linking to adult content

You may use a Link Widget to direct visitors to legal adult content involving consenting adults when all of the following conditions are met:

* The **NSFW Content** label is enabled
* The link destination is lawful
* The destination complies with the YourSitee Community Standards
* The Link Widget thumbnail, favicon, icon, and other visible preview elements do not contain NSFW material
* The link does not promote any prohibited service or content

When a visitor selects a labeled link, YourSitee displays a warning before allowing them to continue to the external website.

<Check>
  **Allowed example:** A Link Widget with a safe title and non-explicit thumbnail that leads to a lawful adult website and has the NSFW Content label enabled.
</Check>

## Content that is always prohibited

Some content and activity are prohibited whether they appear directly on YourSitee or are accessible through an external link.

You <Icon icon="ban" /> **must not publish, promote, facilitate, or link to**:

* Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors
* Sexual exploitation or abuse
* Non-consensual intimate content
* The sale, solicitation, or facilitation of sexual services
* Trafficking or exploitation
* Graphic gore or extreme violence
* Illegal adult content
* Any other content prohibited by applicable law or the Community Standards

<Danger>

## Enforcement

YourSitee may act immediately when NSFW content is displayed directly on a Sitee.

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, we may:

* Remove the content
* Restrict access to the Sitee
* Suspend the account
* Permanently ban the account

<Warning>
  **A single serious violation may result in permanent account termination.** Multiple previous violations are not required when the severity of the content justifies immediate action.
</Warning>

## Full-profile NSFW labels

YourSitee does not currently provide an option to mark an entire Sitee as NSFW.

Because no full-profile warning is available, every directly visible part of a Sitee must remain suitable for a general audience. We may consider broader profile-level content controls in the future, but no such feature is currently available.

## Report prohibited content

Use the official reporting form if you find a Sitee or link that may violate these policies.
