# Finding your username

Your username is the unique name in your public YourSitee link.

For example, in `https://yoursit.ee/example`, the username is `@example`.

## If you are logged in

You can find your username in several places:

* Open your **Profile Widget** in the [Sitee editor](https://yoursit.ee/dashboard/login)
* Check your public Sitee URL
* Select **Share** and copy your YourSitee link

Your public link follows this format:

`https://yoursit.ee/username`

<Info>
  Looking to change your username instead? Follow the steps in [How to change your username](/account/changing-your-username).
</Info>

## If you are logged out

You can sign in using the email address connected to your account, even if you do not remember your username.

You can also try:

* Searching your inbox for previous emails from YourSitee
* Checking social media profiles where you may have shared your Sitee
* Looking through old messages, websites, or email signatures containing your YourSitee link

## Recover access to your account

If you still have access to your registered email address, use [Account Recovery](https://yoursit.ee/dashboard/login/recovery).

Enter your email address, and YourSitee will send you a one-time sign-in link.

<Warning>
  Never share a one-time sign-in link or verification code with anyone. YourSitee staff will never ask you to send it to them.
</Warning>

If you still cannot identify your account, contact [support@yoursitee.com](mailto:support@yoursitee.com).
