# Exporting account data

At YourSitee, we believe you should have full control over your personal data. If you want to review what we have stored, exporting your account data is quick and easy.

You can download a copy of the account data available through YourSitee at any time.

## Request your data export

    [Log in to YourSitee](https://yoursit.ee/dashboard/login), then select your profile picture to open **Account Settings**.

  <Step title="Find Manage Account">
    Scroll to the **Manage Account** section.

  <Step title="Download your data">
    Select **Request a copy of my personal data**. A JSON file containing your available account data will be downloaded to your device.

## About the downloaded file

Your data is provided as a **JSON file**, a structured text format commonly used for data exports.

You can open it with a text editor or another application that supports JSON files.

  **Keep your export secure.** The downloaded file contains personal information and account details. Do not share it publicly and do not send it to someone you do not trust.
